{"id":781,"date":"2025-06-16T07:17:44","date_gmt":"2025-06-16T07:17:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/9ktv.us\/?p=781"},"modified":"2025-06-16T07:17:46","modified_gmt":"2025-06-16T07:17:46","slug":"air-india-flight-shows-boeing-787-did-lose-power-just-before-crash-killed-241-passengers-and-ploughed-into-residential-area","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/9ktv.us\/?p=781","title":{"rendered":"Air India flight &#8216;shows Boeing 787 did lose power&#8217; just before crash killed 241 passengers and ploughed into residential area"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"a83bda1e428544007e66ea6d458578f7\" data-index=\"1\" style=\"float: none; margin:10px 0 10px 0; text-align:center;\">\n<div data-type=\"_mgwidget\" data-widget-id=\"1746226\">\r\n<\/div>\r\n<script>(function(w,q){w[q]=w[q]||[];w[q].push([\"_mgc.load\"])})(window,\"_mgq\");\r\n<\/script>\r\n\n<\/div>\n\n<p>A new bombshell video provides evidence that the Air&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/india\/index.html\">India<\/a>&nbsp;Boeing 787 lost power immediately after take off, leading to the catastrophic crash that killed 241 passengers, an aviation expert has claimed.&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"a83bda1e428544007e66ea6d458578f7\" data-index=\"1\" style=\"float: none; margin:10px 0 10px 0; text-align:center;\">\n<div data-type=\"_mgwidget\" data-widget-id=\"1746226\">\r\n<\/div>\r\n<script>(function(w,q){w[q]=w[q]||[];w[q].push([\"_mgc.load\"])})(window,\"_mgq\");\r\n<\/script>\r\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<p>Commercial airline pilot Steve Schreiber, who analyses plane crashes and close calls, said a new HD-quality video is a &#8216;gamechanger&#8217; in diagnosing the cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He says it reveals the doomed Dreamliner suffered a &#8216;dual engine failure&#8217; before&nbsp;the worst aviation disaster in more than a decade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The jet began losing height moments after take-off and exploded into a fireball after smashing into a hostel on the ground in Gujarat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All but one of the 242 passengers were killed in the horror crash along with another 38 who were&nbsp;killed on the ground when the plane smashed into residential buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>India&#8217;s Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) now has both the plane&#8217;s black boxes as they piece together why the plane crashed just seconds after taking off from Ahmedabad for London&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/gatwick-airport\/index.html\">Gatwick<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Initially Mr Schreiber, best known as Captain Steve online, suspected there had been an exceptionally simple error in the cockpit when the co-pilot was asked to retract the landing gear, with devastating consequences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, a higher quality version of the original video&nbsp;of the crash has emerged, with higher quality visuals and sound, which Mr Schreiber believes could prove that a dual engine failure led to the plane&#8217;s terrifying final moments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 63-year-old, who has 26 years of flying experience &#8211; including 11 as a captain &#8211; and has flown in 60 different aircraft, said a&nbsp;tiny detail which can be seen on the new video is a &#8216;total gamechanger&#8217;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr Schreiber explained on his Youtube channel&nbsp;<a class=\"\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=8XYO-mj1ugg\">Captain Steeeve<\/a>&nbsp;that beneath the right wing of the aeroplane, he could see a &#8216;protrusion on the belly of the aircraft&#8217;. It is basically spinning at the speed of sound to produce the energy, electrical and hydraulic that it needs to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8216;If you weren&#8217;t looking at it, it sounded like a single-engine prop aeroplane just flew by.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8216;The RAT was originally designed as the absolute last resort, assuming there is going to be a dual engine failure at altitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8216;It is not designed for an aeroplane at 400- 500ft. But it is evidence for us.&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His theory is that the crash was caused by a dual-engine failure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He added: &#8216;It is evidence for us it was dual engine failure, most likely. It could have been electrical issue, it could have been hydraulic issue, it could have been either one of that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8216;But I think the fact the aeroplane is mushing out the sky gives the idea it was a dual engine failure.&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alongside visual and audio evidence provided by the new video, Mr Schreiber&nbsp; who reported on the crash from India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But Mr Schreiber said he thinks the publication &#8216;probably got that wrong&#8217; based on the evidence he has seen.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the evidence gives &#8216;a lot more clarity&#8217;
